What’s for dinner?

Check out this kitchen idea that I copied from some friends. It’s a do-it-yourself weekly menu board. Cute, practical, adds some fun and color to your kitchen — and it’s really easy to make. All you need is an 8×10 frame with stand, some colorful paper, a printer and a dry erase marker. I got my supplies at Target: a $3.99 frame, and a packet of fancy scrapbooking paper that cost way more than $3.99. (I’m hopeful that I can find a good use for some of the other patterns — stay tuned.)

I printed the menu on regular paper first, tried it out in the frame, made some slight margin adjustments, and then printed it on the good paper. That’s it.

I’m hoping this makes me a little more organized in our weekly meal planning, and maybe inspired to see some new meals written up there in bright blue marker.
